After five years spent working for a full-service advertising agency as a PR writer,
photographer and account executive, I decided it was time to return to my country
roots and set up shop as a freelance writer and photographer in rural Montana.
Growing up on a cow/calf operation in Southeastern Montana provided me with a
great appreciation for the country way of life and an insight into what it takes to
operate an agricultural business.
Through client work I have continued to build my knowledge of agriculture. I have
visited farms and ranches throughout the country observing many different management
styles at all levels of production. I've also stretched outside my range and pasture
management/beef production comfort zone to work on projects such as corn production,
pests of corn, dairy production and more. I'm always open to the challenge of covering
new subjects.
